80 g/3 oz breadcrumbs generous pinch of freshly grated nutmeg sal


1.Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4. Grease an ovenproof dish with butter. Place the chicory in a steamer and steam for about 10 minutes.
2.Remove from the heat, cut each head in half and place in the prepared dish. Season with salt and sprinkle with the breadcrumbs and nutmeg. Bake for 15 minutes until golden.
