2 lemons, sliced
25 ml/1 fl oz vodka
40-50 g/12-2 oz butter, at room temperature
pinch of paprika
4-6 white bread slices
200 g/7 oz caviar


1.Place the lemon slices in a soup plate and sprinkle with the vodka.
2.Beat the butter with the paprika and a pinch of salt in a bowl.
3.Stamp out rounds from the slices of bread using a biscuit cutter or glass and spread with the paprika butter.
4.Place a slice of drained lemon on each with a teaspoonful of caviar on top.
