1. | Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4 if you wish to bake the eggs. Grease four ramekins with butter and pour a layer of meat sauce into each. Break the eggs on top, season lightly with salt and cover with another layer of meat sauce. |
2. | Place the ramekins in a roasting tin, add boiling water to come about halfway up the sides and bake for 8-1 minutes. Alternatively, place the roasting tin over low heat on the hob for 8-10 minutes. |
3. | Serve hot. |
