
440 g petit fours cookies | |
sunflower oil, for the frying | |
160 g all-purpose flour | |
1 tablespoon(s) granulated sugar | |
260 g milk, 3,5% | |
1/4 teaspoon(s) baking soda | |
1/4 teaspoon(s) salt | |
icing sugar, to serve |
1. | Place the cookies in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes. |
2. | Place a pan over medium to high heat and add the sunflower oil (2 cm deep). |
3. | In a large bowl, whisk the flour, sugar, milk, baking soda and salt until homogenized. |
4. | Remove cookies from refrigerator and roll them in the flour mixture until completely covered by it. |
5. | Fry for 2-3 minutes until golden. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels. |
6. | Set them aside to cool and insert 10 skewers. |
7. | Serve with icing sugar. |
