1 onion, sliced
3 tablespoons chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
2 bay leaves, torn into pieces
2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
5 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons lemon juice, strained
salt and pepper


1.Season meat with salt and pepper and cover with the onion, parsley, thyme, bay leaves and garlic.
2.Mix together the olive oil and lemon juice and pour over the meat.
3.Marinate in a cool place for about 2 hours.
4.For sliced meat or chicken breasts.
