
1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice , Meyer lemons are preferred | |
4 cups water, divided | |
1 cup honey , or maple syrup / other sweeteners | |
1 tablespoon dried lavender flowers | |

lemon slices and fresh lavender flowers, for garnish |
1. | Add 2 cups of water, the honey, and dried lavender to a small pot. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and stir to dissolve the honey. |
2. | Once the honey is dissolved, turn off the heat and let the mixture infuse for 30 minutes. |
3. | While you're waiting for the mixture to infuse, pour the lemon juice into a pitcher. |
4. | Strain the lavender mixture through a fine mesh sieve into the pitcher with the lemon juice. |
5. | Pour 2 cups of cold water (or more if desired) into the pitcher and stir together. Add ice and lemon slices. |
6. | To serve, pour the lavender lemonade into glasses with ice and garnish with fresh lavender blossoms. |
