1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice , Meyer lemons are preferred
4 cups water, divided
1 cup honey , or maple syrup / other sweeteners
1 tablespoon dried lavender flowers
lemon slices and fresh lavender flowers, for garnish


1.Add 2 cups of water, the honey, and dried lavender to a small pot. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and stir to dissolve the honey.
2.Once the honey is dissolved, turn off the heat and let the mixture infuse for 30 minutes.
3.While you're waiting for the mixture to infuse, pour the lemon juice into a pitcher.
4.Strain the lavender mixture through a fine mesh sieve into the pitcher with the lemon juice.
5.Pour 2 cups of cold water (or more if desired) into the pitcher and stir together. Add ice and lemon slices.
6.To serve, pour the lavender lemonade into glasses with ice and garnish with fresh lavender blossoms.
