25 g/1 oz butter 1 onion, chopped
200 g/7 oz sauerkraut. drained and rinsed 200 g/7 oz mushroom caps, sliced
300 g/11 oz potatoes, thinly sliced salt


1.Melt the butter in saucepan, add the onion and cook over alow heat, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes until lightly browned.
2.Add the sauerkraut and mushrooms, increase the heat to high and cook, stirring frequently, for about 8 minutes.
3. Add the potatoes, season with salt, reduce the heat, cover and cook for 45 minutes, adding a little water if necessary.
