1 shallot, finely sliced 1 teaspoon minced fresh root ginger
50 ml (2 fl oz) rice wine vinegar or sherry 2 tablespoons reduced-salt soy sauce
1 teaspoon honey 2 tablespoons lime or lemon juice
1 teaspoon sesame oil


1. Place the shallot, ginger, vinegar or sherry, soy sauce, honey and 1 tablespoon lime or lemon juice in a small saucepan over medium heat.
2.Stir in the sesame oil and remaining lime juice and heat through.
