8 country bread slices
4 cloves garlic
6-8 ripe plum tomatoes, diced
extra-virgin olive oil, for drizzling
salt and pepper


1.Toast the slices of bread on both sides under the grill or on a barbecue.
2.Rub them with garlic while they still hot and put back under the grill for a moment.
3.Arrange the tomatoes on the bread.
4.Season with salt and pepper and drizzle with olive oil.
