Home-made pizzas can be very healthy, with a starchy base
topped with your own choice of fresh vegetables and low-
fat ingredients. Look out for half-fat mozzarella, which has
only 10 g of fat per 100 g (3 oz).
Pizzas are fun to make and will encourage children to take
an interest in food, cooking and their health. Before buying
pizzas, check the label and choose those with the least fat
– you will be surprised at how much the fat content can vary.
