
2 slices artisan whole grain bread (or gluten free bread of choice) | |
3 ounces mozzarella | |
½ avocado, sliced | |
1-2 slices turkey bacon | |
sliced roma tomatoes, if desired | |
2 basil leaves | |
butter, for spreading |
1. | Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread. |

3. | Heat a skillet over medium high heat and add in sandwich. Cover with a lid and cook about 5 minutes, or until golden brown on bottom. |
4. | Carefully flip sandwich, reduce heat to medium and cook a few more minutes or until the cheese has melted and bread is golden brown. Enjoy immediately! |
